The Gift
One artist.
One sculpture.
One year of craftsmanship.
One gift to veterans.
I have a deep love and respect for our military, and when I learned about the Veterans Healing Farm and the work they are doing to help veterans living with PTSD and other mental health challenges through nontraditional approaches and what they grow on the farm, I felt a connection to their mission.
I know what it means to find healing through creating. Art has been a powerful part of my own journey through PTSD and other mental health challenges. Creating gave me a place to put what I carried inside of me and allowed me to transform it into something I could see, touch, and understand. It was for this connection that I decided to create something for the Veterans Healing Farm.
I have dedicated one year of my craftsmanship to create a one-of-a-kind handcrafted metal sculpture for the farm. I am also covering the materials, transportation, and installation so the farm can receive the sculpture without having to bear any cost.
I can't do every part of this alone. I'm inviting you to help me bring this gift to the Veterans Healing Farm.
Your support will help fund the physical cost of creating, transporting, and installing the sculpture. Every contribution becomes part of the story of this monument and allows us to give something meaningful to the men and women who have valiantly given us our freedom.
I am giving my craftsmanship. You can help me give the sculpture. Together, we can build something that represents what craftsmanship can do, not just to metal, but to a human life.
