Time depicts the passage of time as seen through the sky behind a mature oak — a fixed presence witnessing constant change.
The work was conceived as a way to mark progression rather than arrival. The oak remains steady while light, movement, and atmosphere shift around it, reflecting how growth often becomes visible only when we pause long enough to notice how far we’ve traveled.
Created through layered steel and negative space, the piece holds both stillness and motion at once. It invites the viewer to stand in that in-between moment — not at the beginning, not at the end — but at a point of quiet recognition along their own path.
