Abstract Mind is a celebration of expanding our knowledge and being open minded.
Previous to sculpting this I felt like abstract sculpture was artists phoning it in. In 2017 I attended FabTech and saw 2 abstract sculptures created by Jesse James and Albert Paley. The sculptures fueled my imagination, and I went home and started studying abstract sculptures and chose to expand my mind by trying my hand at creating one. It was way harder than I imagined and the challenge brought me great joy. I have been obsessed with both abstract and realism since then, and bring both into everything I create.
