Inspired by Baker Beam’s life and one-of-a-kind, rebellious spirit, this sculpture replicates our namesake’s iconic leather jacket. When I heard that Baker Beam rode his motorcycle to work every day, I immediately saw a leather jacket. The motorcycle has always represented a rebellious spirit, and the leather jacket worn by the rider is another symbol of that spirit. I really relate to this because I ride and wear a leather jacket, making me feel that I embody the same spirit of Baker Beam.
